I went in to No-Frills this morning to pick up a few things for the boys while I am away---milk, margarine, boneless and skinless chicken breasts, and various raw veggies. It cost me less than $30 for everything. I will have to do a major shop when I get back next week. I put a handmade birthday card in the mail for my son-in-law in Oshawa before I made a kolbassa stew in the crockpot for tonight's dinner. I am all packed up and ready for the train station. Tomorrow we will hit the road for Elliot Lake.

My crocus is almost finished. When I get back, I suspect my daffodils will be in bloom

Windflowers poking their heads up in my front flower bed. During the day, they open up like daisies with bright yellow centres. They are an anemone.
