My pink peonies bloom after the red ones are almost finished. They are very large and heavy.

Coral Bells look so dainty and last so long in the garden. The leaves look a little like Pelargonium ( annual geranium). The Primrose in the background look like they are going to burst out any day now, and mallow grows in the foreground.

Tuesday, June 10, 2014

Tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, broccoli,  2 rows of yellow wax beans, 2 rows of green bush beans and 2 rows of carrots.
Along the far side I have run two rows of onions and along the side closest, are the strawberry plants.

The mounds are planted with cucumbers, squash, zucchini, pumpkin, watermelon and musk melon (cantaloupe). In the spaces between the mounds, I will plant some corn...not necessarily for eating, but for decorating this Fall.

I missed the blooms this year of my apple trees and my lilacs.
Yes, those are wild phlox in my garden. Even the weeds are pretty.
