Although we did not make a lots of stops, we passed a lot of farmers' markets still open for business, and apple orchards with farm helpers still picking. We drove through vineyards and wineries, pumpkin fields, and lots of small little towns and villages all decked out for autumn and Halloween in particular. We stopped for lunch in one of those small towns past Picton called Wellington. It was actually warm enough to eat outside in a park on the water's edge. This was the view we enjoyed while having our picnic. |
Behind us, was a beautiful play area for kids. I thought of three of my grand kids who would love to visit this park with grandpa and I. |
